Opportunity Monday First Post May 12, 2008

In my world, Mondays tend to be hectic, frantic & wild! A little while ago, co-worker and I decided to not schedule anything for Mondays, as all we can do anyway is answer the phone, (like 300 times!) put out fires & play catch with everything thrown our way.

Then a little voice in my head (i don't ask where it comes from - afraid of the answer...) said the real problem with Mondays is your attitude toward it; not the day & it's occurances.

"Go forward with a deliberate attitude," it said, "face - don't duck - anything that comes your way. Conversely , see every encounter as an opportunity to create a positive experience."

From this, I am working to create a new paradigm. If I look at Mondays as filled with opportunity instead of mayhem, at the very least, it'll be easier to get out of bed in the morning.

So, what is the Opportunity that I took hold of this Monday?? I guess writing this blog... A forum to offer inspiration and support to those who suffer from Manic Monday!
